Deep Blue Marine Ltd is a marine surveying and engineering consultancy operated by Stuart Knaggs, a mechanical engineer (formerly Toyota and Ford R&D) who has been a full-time marine surveyor and engineering consultant since 1995. Based in Anguilla with primary coverage across Sint Maarten, Saint-Martin, St Barths, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Anguilla, Saba, and St Eustatius — available worldwide. Lloyd's sub-agent (under the Lloyds Agency in Barbados) and Bahamas Maritime Authority flag state inspector. Logistical support provided by Mary Wrigley. Services span the full range from pre-purchase and insurance surveys through highly technical work: ultrasonic thickness testing, galvanic potential analysis, IMO SCV Code compliance, tonnage surveys, P&I inspections, collision damage, structural failure analysis, load weighing (to 40t), cargo survey, and fraud investigation.
