Founded in 2012 and formerly known as Seaside Electronics, Waypoint is a marine electronics and connectivity specialist based on the French side of Saint Martin, serving the Caribbean yachting industry with advanced onboard technology solutions and expert technical support. Waypoint specializes in the sales, installation, integration, troubleshooting, and servicing of marine electronic systems for vessels ranging from simple recreational boats to complex yacht bridge systems. Our expertise covers chartplotters, VHF communications, fishfinders, autopilots, navigation instruments, and fully integrated bridge electronics. As the only authorized Garmin service center in the region capable of performing official Garmin warranty work, Waypoint provides factory-level support and certified service for Garmin systems. We are also an authorized Furuno reseller and offer technical assistance and support for Furuno installations throughout the Caribbean. Our certified technicians are trained in advanced marine networking and diagnostics, including NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 systems. Certified as NMEA Advanced Installers since 2013, we provide complete network diagnostics and integration services. Waypoint is also a certified Airmar installer and equipped with a TDT1000 tester to diagnose and test Airmar transducers accurately. In addition to marine electronics, Waypoint delivers reliable onboard connectivity solutions, including 5G internet, Starlink LEO systems, VSAT, and vessel network integration. Certified with Peplink, Intellian, and Sailor antenna systems, we design and support high-performance communications networks for modern yachts. While Starlink installations and network integration are now our primary focus, we continue to provide assistance for existing VSAT and TVRO systems. Waypoint also specializes in complete onboard systems integration, including digital switching, audio entertainment, lighting, and vessel monitoring systems. We are certified for CZone and EmpireBus digital switching platforms, Sentinel monitoring systems, JL Audio and Fusion marine audio products, and Lumishore marine lighting solutions. With over a decade of experience serving the Caribbean marine industry, Waypoint combines certified expertise, premium technology partnerships, and responsive local support to keep vessels connected, operational, and ready for sea.
