St Martin Marine Surveyors is operated by David Duong AMS®, an Accredited Marine Surveyor with the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS) and Bureau Veritas non-exclusive surveyor for Sint Maarten and the northern islands. Based in Saint-Martin since 2005, David has completed more than 1,000 surveys on sail and motor yachts from 15 to 100+ feet. Reports are accepted worldwide by Pantaenius, Allianz, Caribbean Alliance, Ernst & Young (Hong Kong), and many other insurers and financial institutions. Services cover the whole Caribbean from the Bahamas to Panama to Martinique. Also offers yacht management, absentee owner management, refit project management, and oil analysis. Background includes Export Director at Budget Marine (2000–2006) and founder of Horizon Yacht Charters St Maarten (2006–2013).
