Caraïbes Diesel Services is the authorised Caterpillar Marine Power and Volvo Penta dealer for Saint-Martin and Sint Maarten, also representing Northern Lights generators. Founded over 17 years ago by Erwan Le Normand — following a decade working with the previous Caterpillar agent — the company operates from a single modern site right next to the Sandy Ground Bridge on the Route de Sandy Ground. The team of 10 includes factory-trained mechanics and electricians, all English-fluent. Services cover all major diesel brands: Caterpillar, Volvo Penta, MAN, Perkins, Northern Lights, Yanmar, and all transmissions. Parts store stocks 2,500+ items. Mobile service island-wide by dinghy or vehicle, covering all marinas and shipyards.
