St. Maarten Sails & Canvas NV is the island's longest-established sail and canvas loft, founded in 1979 as Lanseair Gowen Sails. Operating from a purposely designed 2,500 sq ft loft at #4 Wellsburg Street, Cole Bay — across from Island Water World — the professionally staffed workshop handles sail repairs, custom sail making as an authorised Ullman Sails dealer, marine canvas (biminis, dodgers, covers), and commercial and residential awnings.
