About

The Maritime School of the West Indies (MSWI) is the oldest IYT-affiliated maritime school in the Caribbean, based at #42 Wellington Road, Cole Bay, with a dinghy dock for tender access from all lagoon marinas. Founded and operated by Wally Schredl, MSWI has certified over 1,800 students. Monthly courses run October through May covering the full STCW 2010, STCW refreshers, IYT Master of Yachts, Boat Master (SCV Code), powerboat and RIB certifications, VHF, marine engineering, and recreational sailing. All certifications are MCA approved and IYT globally recognised. Courses never cancelled once scheduled.
